We were recommended Pia and Michele by a good friend of ours who attended a wedding in Italy. They heard we were thinking of getting married in Tuscany and felt the wedding they went to was so good that they passed on Pia and Michele’s (Olive in Love) contact details to us. It was the best decision we made! The whole experience was wonderful from start to finish.
We began by looking through a fantastic selection of wedding venues and picked our favourites. In one short trip to Italy we had found the perfect location for our wedding day. From the moment we started sending pictures and sharing our Pinterest images we knew that they understood the rustic/chic style we wanted to achieve. Their advice and recommendations were invaluable from the legal stuff, catering, flowers, musicians, hair/makeup, the vintage Italian car and lots more! All the people involved in the wedding were friendly, professional and delivered everything with the upmost quality. We really couldn’t fault a thing. They also advised us on what was worth spending more of our budget on and what areas you could make clever compromises whilst not altering the look and feel of the overall wedding. Our wedding day was just perfect and more than we could ever have hoped for. Pia and Michael were on hand throughout the day and ensured everything worked like clock work whilst adding their own personal touches.
We would never have been able to achieve our perfect wedding without them and we feel so grateful and lucky to have found them and now think of them not just as our wedding planners but as our friends. We would not hesitate in recommending them to organise your special day.
Rustic Charm in Montepulciano Vineyard
Shanna and Danny fell in love with an olive grove, right next to a stunning Tuscan villa, nearby Montepulciano, Val D’Orcia valley, in the Southern Tuscany. This beautiful area has the picture perfect landscapes, from the paintings with the lonely farmhouses, cypress lanes and tiny hillside towns with cobbled streets. A perfect setting for a rustic countryside wedding. This beautiful wedding with lots of rustic charm in Montepulicano, was captured by Jules Bower, english born Tuscan based wedding photographer. The day started rainy, but cleared out by the time of the ceremony, that was held in a small 12th century village church. Small and big miracles were there to make the day truly unforgettable; the rain, the sunshine, the views, the laughs and the local people cheering outside the church after the wedding ceremony. The wedding reception was set up under the Tuscan sun and the evening meal was pure magic under the sparkling stars. Shanna & Danny’s day was such a lucky, happy and sun kissed Tuscan wedding.
