I found Pia from Olive in love when she was mentioned on a wedding forum completely by accident. I had been looking into the larger wedding planning companies in Tuscany.I don’t know what good fortune was looking down on me that day, but to this day it is one of the luckiest things that ever happened to me. Pia is extremely efficient, and has great contacts, and can offer advice about virtually anything you want as part of your big day. She works with all the big companies but also smaller ones which you probably wouldn’t get offered if you went to one of the larger wedding planners. She is totally focused on what the couple wants and will do anything she can to make it happen.
We made so many demands on Pia and she never once complained. The week leading up to our wedding did not go particularly smoothly as rain had been forecast and we had to basically change the whole plan for the day and hire a marquee. Myself and my Mum were extremely stressed and we placed a lot of demands on Pia, but she didn’t show any signs of stress and calmly went about reorganising everything. Of course in the end the day went smoothly and was a fantastic success, many friends of ours still say it was the best wedding they have been to. The thing that Olive in Love has over them is more than just efficiency, its their personal service. You could be forgiven for thinking that yours is the only wedding they are planning. On top of all this they are truly lovely people and a pleasure to work with.
Autumn Wedding in Florence
Caroline & Jason decided to celebrate their love and life in Florence, a central spot for their families and relatives from UK, United States, France, Norway, Russia and New Zealand. Around 80 guests took the journey and enjoyed few lovely days in Tuscany during this beautiful autumn wedding in Florence. The wedding day started a bit rainy, and the Plan B had to be activated. A beautiful white wedding marquee was set up in the Renaissance Villa gardens, for the wedding ceremony. After the ceremony there was live music and drinks at the panoramic terrace overlooking Florence, now bathing in late summer warm sun! The wedding meal was set up in the gorgeous main hall. After dinner entertainment was a great theatre performance, improv actors played the newly wed couples story , and gave the whole wedding party an entertaining italian lesson. Check out www.italianoallimprovviso.it Then the newly wed Mr & Mrs performed a great wedding dance, for the guests joy and surprise. The rest of the evening was filled with music and fun, before the guests walked into their accommodations in the nearby country estate. What a great night and beautiful autumn wedding in Florence!
