Project Description

Wedding ceremony in Palazzo Pretorio in Certaldo

Certaldo Alto is a tiny Tuscan hillside town, known as the home town of the famous medieval writer Giovanni Boccaccio (1313-1375). The beautiful old town is a little off the beaten track, even though very centrally located, just a short drive from the more known Tuscan towns San Gimignano, Volterra and Siena. The old part of the town can be reached driving or by taking the funicular from the lower part of the town, offering visitors a panoramic – and really fun – way to arrive to the town. Having the wedding in Certaldo offers the wedding guests a great opportunity to visit this beautiful historical village, that has remained quite local. During weddings the wedding party becomes part of the village itself – it’s that small!

Weddings are celebrated every day of the week. Contact us for more details.

Town Hall Capacity is approx. 80 guests. Seating is provided only for the spouses and few other persons.
