Golden Wedding in Pisa
Andie & David, a couple with style and elegance . They fell in love with a beautiful historical villa in the countryside between Pisa and Lucca. The grand historical villa had just the right portion of rustic decadence and elegance, as well as suitable spaces for their wedding celebration. This wedding turned out to be a almost Great Gatsby like golden wedding in Pisa. There was even a Great large grass lawn to play cricket on! Here is a good example of uniting something local with your own fun. They had a traditional Italian wedding ceremony with local food and wine, but brought with them a bottle of Pimm’s to celebrate the winner of the games, and the first part of the great entertaining wedding day. Andie was getting ready with her sister and step daughters in the first floor of the villa, keeping an eye on the games right below. She had her gorgeous custom wedding dress made in the same pale golden shade than the rest of the wedding theme. She even had her wedding bouquet made of old family jewels, bespoke! Andie was a vision, when she walked down the stairs to the ceremony room, in the ground floor of the villa, in her fathers arm, preceded by the bridesmaids in pretty coffee brown dresses. David made a beautiful speech to his bride, in Italian, that he secretly learned, to impress her. (Speaking about style and class..). After the ceremony the aperitifs were served in the garden. Dinner was set up in the magnificent hall under the frescoed ceilings. The royal table in middle of the room, offered a royal space for 40 guests. Dancing in the old wine cellars under the villa, went on until the late night. Golden days, golden wedding in Pisa !
